Ok...I've seen this long enough. Ex navy guy and current engineer here. He is not a nuclear physicist. A nuclear physicist and a navy nuclear plant officer candidate are vastly different things. I have been around nukes while in the navy being on carrier's and I have also worked with astrophysicists at NASA. A navy nuke officer doesn't have anywhere near the education level of a an actual nuclear physicist. While nuke officers make good money, especially post navy, actual nuclear physicist are at another level. Think Neil Degrasse Tyson. Additionally, he is in school. He has to make it through one of the military toughest schools. It is no certainty that he will make it as the washout rate is very high. Given that his undergrad is in business and not stem, this will make it even harder for him. Not trying to be a hater, but I'm a stickler for being accurate about titles. I have personally not hired people for not being correct about what they were or actually do.

Ex navy here to and that bothered me as well. Another thing that is bothering me is how he said he quit studying to be a nuke and now hows a civilian job??? So either he went reserve but even then I'm sure with that specific job you are required to do a six year active duty contract because the training is 2 years long. Even if he dropped that school he should've been re rated or went undes. Or maybe he got kicked out in basic. Lots of flaws with his story.
