@Humanoidable4 ай бұрын
@@GreatLightStudios good question
@whitenoisejack4 ай бұрын
@@GreatLightStudios KZbin said I didn't change the "original source material" enough to add enough value to qualify for monetization. Which means they think the original source material is the image. It's not. This is a sound channel. The original source material, which I've created as an original work, is the soundscape. Not to mention all the imagery I use is licensed and/or paid for. So KZbin doesn't think there is value there, but yet, continues to run ads on the videos anyway, keeping all ad revenue. And as KZbin has no customer service channels or anyone you can call or talk to in order to reason with and explain, you get nowhere.
@GreatLightStudios4 ай бұрын
@@whitenoisejack That's incredibly frustrating. I have another background sound channel that was also denied monetization, however they allowed me to submit a video appeal where I explained how I made my content and why it was "original material" and they turned on monetization in the next couple of days. -- I'm not sure if you have tried that yet, but if not, try sending in an appeal. There should be a place to do that on your monetization page. This page deserves to be monetized.

Nuclear apocalypse/winter ambiences are a dime a dozen but this one really stands out mostly due to the color and soundscape. This one really works. It feels distinctly shortly after the "Judgment Day", not years and years after but not mere days after... feels less than 3 months after the Day The Bombs Went Off. It's starting to settle in for people that the old society is never coming back and this is not just a blip. There is no remnant government out there piecing things back together and coming for us with food, radio/TV, and a plan. It's sinking in for those in this valley, the lights aren't coming back on, help isn't coming. It's just us now. What we can carry and protect, that's your life from now on. The neighbors you never bothered to get to know, are beginning to realize they are in competition for what little food remains in town. Household items that have no function in this new context are starting to look different. Family photos of people you'll never see again, tickets to upcoming concerts that will never happen again, grocery coupons, the fridge and freezer, the washer and dryer, the shower, the stove, none of it functioning anymore, or ever again, yet continuing to exist, like a collection of bygone hieroglyphs and artifacts, mocking you, ready to hum right back on to business as usual if only someone would say the magic word. But it's all gone gone gone, for good, and now that the permanence of what has happened is computing in her mind, your wife is starting to get bored, and paranoid about dying at the hands of bloodthirsty bandits after your house and non-perishables. Thank god you have no kids yet. You know she is right... you need to start moving West, on your own terms, before you are forced out. I feel the resignation, the fear, the crumbling denial, the shame.

Simple, you look over that wide expanse of snow and desolation and you feel a sense of calm knowing that there's nothing and nobody. You're back to living how humanity was always meant to live. Taking stock of your food and planning how to get more food and clean water, Checking to make sure your shelter isn't gonna fall down in the next bout of strong wind Taking apart that rifle you found in someone's abandoned car to clean it and make sure it's good for tomorrow's hunt. And every moment in-between is yours to do with as you please. Rest and be lazy? Sure. Be proactive and work on a stronger, longer lasting shelter? Good idea. TL:DR, you feel calm because this soundscape gives you a glance of being free and Returning to Wild Nature whether you like it or not.

Loving this ambiance. Only thing missing is a Walker snarling a walking by every now and then. 🥃 Great job with this. Definitely helping me get through the work day.

The picture is reminiscent of the 80’s British Nuclear War movie Threads.

I’m listening to this while on a walk all while pretending the world has ended and I’m the sole survivor; lowkey fun. Lol.

Not what I’d have searched for, but man does KZbin do a great job with their suggestions.

Jesus. How fucking bleak is Montana?! Will I be able to tell the difference between a quiet evening and the End of Days? If I'm alone, is there any way to know for sure that I'm alive?

I like to set a mood for when I'm reading, and I picked this for 'The Road'. It made the experience so much more harrowing than it already was, and I genuinely had to turn it off for subsequent sessions because it royally fucked me up. 10/10, good wind noise!

I imagine myself with a sawn-off, making some kind of make shift hideout, and getting some rest for the next trek to no where. Soothing. Strangely.

Você que veio buscar esse "afago" em sua vida, tenho uma mensagem para você. A mente é sim o maior desafio que precisas enfrentar. A luta é constante e diária. Mas saiba que é possível vencer sem ao menos lutar. Basta ser paciente e acolher seus próprios erros.
