Yes, I saw them in Hellfest. In fact I discoverd them, I just knew the name cause when I was a teenager I used to listen to Maiden, Def Leppard or Metallica.) I wanted to see them by curiosity and they litteraly blast me. Jeff B. has found the good musicians. It is funny because one moment Jeff saw the crowd and ask the audience " honestly, who know us?" and maybe 30 people raised their arms and after "and how many of you see us for the first time?" ... the rest of the audience said yes (like me). But no big deal he kept his smile and the rest was just magic. Just after the set I went to the bar next to the stage to get a beer, I owe them one of the best one of my life (there are moment in your lifetime you can't forget). Good album for a good band. Thx to them.

All the old school thrash metal struck a chord with me and has stayed with me ever since. It’s special to me.....especially the evil shit. Seven Churches hit me with the same impact that Reign in Blood did. But I wrote Possessed off like one would a one hit wonder because eventually Possessed fizzled away. Why didn't I know about this until now?! I still have my copies of "Seven Churches" and "Beyond The Gates" on vinyl, and this one song is more exciting to me than most modern death metal is. This sounds effortlessly evil and sinister, and doesn't come off as old guys trying too hard at all. Along with Exhorder, this is proof positive that just because you're older doesn't mean you mellow out that much. Since Jeff pretty much created death metal on his own, it's great to hear he still has it in him! Another CD I need to add to the collection, I think.
