When I insert a file of multi-fuel reactor into the NuclearCraft Reactor Builder program right in the game, it gives the error "the json file is outdated" or something like that. Which mod or version of the mod to display this scheme in the game?

Seeing your design, I wondered which blocks inside the reactor are transparent for neutrons, as there are no fission cells adjacent to neutron sources. I am sure moderators are transparent and reflectors aren't, the last bit you have already said in the video, which leaves me the heat sinks. I see water heat sinks between neutron sources and cells with TBU, so that leads me to assume heat sinks are also transparent. Can you confirm this is the case, or I misunderstood something?

You are right - the only blocks that block sources are 100% reflectivity reflectors (so _not_ the lead-steel ones) and cells/vessels/irradiators :)

regarding swaping between hotbars, vanilla minecraft also has that. so im not sure its quartz. or vanilla or a combination of the two.

Quark does the swappable hotbars. you are correct.

God I love this mod, but at the same time I spend so long in Chem. Exch. on normal worlds to make like half as much tough alloy as I need xd

As a returning player to minecraft, I noticed this mod, It looks really cool, but what are the reactors used for? Do they generate electricity, and if so what for? Or is it just nuclear reactors for the sake of nuclear reactors?

Yep, they generate energy for machines to run. A lot of mods use the same energy API and so there's a lot of cross-mod interation possible :)

My thought process was that if people want a simpler nuclear power option, there's extreme reactors, so I decided to push the boat out a bit with the new NC :)

Tbh I'm still unsire if I should install this mod, cause I have like 2 Stacks of Yellorium in my base and I don't want to make my base radioactive We need some sort of way to contain radiation, maybe with blocks that you can place in a chunk and they will stop spreading of radiation a tiny bit

I think you can switch that ambient radiation off in the config file

yellorium barely makes any radiation

As cleverboys says, yellorium will hardly generate any radiation, and items in chests or other containers won't produce radiation by default anyway.

Most people, even those who understand the maths and so on, use the planner, because it makes tweaking designs quite a lot easier :)
