how the hell did Thom and co write these chords / melodies. It's so far beyond rock music.
@halfalligator65183 жыл бұрын
@Nostalgia for Infinity yeah, they just share the instruments with rock (even then not always) so they give the first impression that it's maybe rock.
@PlanetXerox3 жыл бұрын
Radiohead is mainly around the lines of Alternative. they play far beyond the norms of a traditional rock, electronic, and orchestra music, and that's what makes them so great. whereas bands like Maroon 5 and Coldplay never matured and hopped around dated music trends (that led them to being sell-outs), Radiohead, like Pink Floyd and The Beatles, dared to experiment and emboldened themselves that record labels would say, "career suicide." and the result is a diverse catalogue of music that for starters, is an acquired taste, but by going down the rabbit hole grants you the keys to a different road to music that far exceeds you expectations, it's rewarding, and that's the beauty of Radiohead, going far and beyond.
@halfalligator65183 жыл бұрын
@@PlanetXerox couldn't have said it better. Those bands especially are like that.
