I like listening to Ben Jacobs. Whilst I don’t always like what he says, I respect his opinions as seen through “neutral” eyes. And, he’s usually in the money. He helps to balance the Newcastle-Biased specs I wear.

I said it on the 3 Amigos on Friday and I’ll say it again now.. why are big clubs like Man Utd and Tottenham who are hundreds of millions of pounds in Debt allowed to just simply get away with this and debt not being taken into account with so called “Profit & Sustainability” it is absolute bullshit. How can you be 600M in debt and then get away with being Profitable and Sustainable? The law is an ass you cannot tell me these rules are fair and proper because they simply are not

@@markyNUFC80 i think it's clear to everyone at this stage that the rules are a total stitch up. we have owners who have the funds to spend so why can't they? i believe the argument about placing the funds in an escrow account stands up and if that safeguards the club in the future from being run into the ground like Leeds were well then what exactly is the problem? these laws are anti competitive and are a set of barriers put up by the established "big clubs" to avoid anyone breaking through why should we have to sell any of our blue chip players to rival clubs in order to meet PSR when our blue chip players will go to the very same clubs who the rules benefit in the first place? it's a total con job.

@jrws89 couldn't agree anymore. Ben stated that the issue was the share holder loans, without addressing why they where included in the SAME vote as APT......surely that was an issue. I am really not surprised people are distrusting of journalists......its not what they say, it's what they conveniently omit. I've turned it off because I was getting more and more outraged.

We have new adidas deal money champions league money tv broadcast money there must be money to spend maybe we are just making out theres no money there so we dont get the newcastle tax but then again last january and the summer was very disappointing
