To be fair, Wade did made an allusion to them at the end of the video:) They don't just create the names for colours- they hold the rights to a whole colour matching system, which in effect regulates, for example, whether the product you've ordered from a third-party company matches the specification that you've sent them. It's not in my wheelhouse, but I can understand why companies would like their ordered products (like merch) to match the colours they're using:)

There is like one company in the world that creates Bluetooth audio receiver chips, that's why they all have the same sound on startup. Even the most expensive bluetooth speakers (and most likely also the sexy speaker) uses the same chip, but most manufacturers don't bother reflashing the default sound. This doesn't mean that the rest of the system is the same, it's just that the receiver is always from the same company.
