This was among the greatest defensive performances by any team ever, the highlights do not do justice to just how stifling the Wolves were. They pressured absolutely everything, the entire length of the court and forced them into last second shots all night. The Nuggets literally and figuratively threw in the towel lol there was just nothing they could do that night. Truly awe inspiring for basketball fans, defense is still important and can be just as much fun to watch.

So.. fun fact. Denver did not face a 50 win team in the last 2 playoffs before the Wolves. Their title run was a masterclass in facing lower seeds. What many call creampuff. Goaltending isn’t the same as a foul btw. Goaltending is blocking the shot from going in when it’s on a downward trajectory. A foul is when contact is made without touching the ball when the opposing player is in the act of shooting. There are other fouls but when you keep mentioning goaltending, that’s not what that is.
