They aren't the Celtics, looking to shoot 50 a game every game. They shoot the best shot diet for the game in question. That's why they've been so consistently potent.

Cleveland is a middle of the road 3pt shooting team(16th amongst the 30 teams in attempts, but 2nd highest conversion percentage when shot). The problem is that the Nuggets weren’t guarding against the 3 point shot, so the Cavaliers kept shooting them.🤷🏾‍♂️

They were gaurding, the problem is that the ball moves so damn quickly that you just cant get to the shooter fast enough. Ball movement is key to their success. Not to mention, the Cavs are truly solid from the lowest bench player to the lead starter.

Wrong…you must not watch the Cavs. This was no fluke…the Cavs have been doing this to everyone. The ball movement is top notch which is getting the Cavs QUALITY 3 point looks. And they have about 5 guys who can really shoot it well…Donovan, Darius, Merrill, Jerome, LeVert, Okoro, Wade, and now even Mobley. With Donovan and Darius being able to break anyone down on the dribble, someone is going to always get open with their ball movement. To top it off, Jarrett Allen is cleaning up the misses. Lastly, although it didn’t show last night, the Cavs have the best pairing of rim protectors in the league with Mobley and Allen. 27-4 is no accident.

@ Thanks for your opinion but you’re wrong. You talk like the Nuggets weren’t playing defense. They tried but the ball moves faster than the rotations and the Nuggets don’t have the ability to guard Darius and Donovan off the dribble. The Cavs put them in no man’s land all night. Calling the Cavs a middle of the road 3 point shooting team is absurd. Even the Nuggets coach commended the Cavs on how many guys are shooting over 40%. Middle of the road shooting teams don’t connect at those percentages. Your choice of words to describe the Cavs shooting prowess is way out in left field, and you’re the only person I’ve heard describe the Cavs shooting ability like that after 31 games.

The Cavaliers have a very important advantage - they don't have a single player that an opponent can focus on and shut down and then have a good chance to win. If you can shut Mitchell down (and teams haven't really figured out how to do that) the Cavs have multiple other threats they can turn to. Garland, Mobley, Allen, LeVert, etc, etc, etc. Cleveland is a *hard* team to stop. Do they have weaknesses? Sure. Of course they do. I don't know what those might be, but I'm sure *someone* does. Go ask Atlanta - maybe they can explain it.

Weakness is 6’8+ wings that can shoot 3s. Atlanta has multiple. Boston does too. The reason this is a weakness is because the Cavs defenders for these guys are 6’4 or 6’5. And simply don’t have long enough arms.
