You're absolutely right, I just put two sprays on my arm next to each other, Pulse of the Night and Herod and the two fragrances have great similarities , they share a lot of nuances, especially on the softness and sweetness, on the other hand the opening notes that titillate the nose, like a fuzziness is found in Nuit D'Issey POTN and not in Herod which is better rounded in my opinion. But sincerely I would say that both are worth it. ✌️😋

@@markit8785 I don't feel like there is ambroxin in this perfume at all, otherwise I don't get it. The note that comes out a little spicier is due to the incense, but it's not unpleasant at all and I feel it's pretty well balanced with vanilla, sandalwood and the tonka beans.

It’s such a different smell. It has that dark chocolate smell but has a strong tone on the top of it. Such a winter fragrance that is unique and nobody but YOU will be wearing it.

I just ordered a 50ml of Nautica Aqua Rush Gold from PerfumeOnline the other day. It was my daily driver in college. and got tons of compliments, but was sadly discontinued. The few bottles still around seem to have deteriorated with time, but I still enjoy it for the price. I'd love to try pulse of the night as well.

Excellent review as always. I went through several bottles of Issey Miyaki when it first came out in the 90's. Many flankers later, I understand that this is among the best flankers in modern times. I would probably buy Pulse of the Night.

I am looking at purchasing Tom Ford Black Orchid as well as Bleu de Chanel EDP or Parfum. I am also on the search for something I smelled about a year ago. It was smokey, warm and semi sweet. But definitely dried down to a sweet smoke. I don't recall what it was, but I enjoy the hunt.

I would buy The One EDP, or Pulse of the night. I have smelled Nuit d’issey and I loved it. Very warm and dark. I think I’m going to pickup The One because It is cheaper than pulse of the night. I will wait and see if I have enough money from my birthday to then get pulse of the night.
