The feeling you get when you watch this anime is amazing. The vibes are so good and then when it ends you feel sad. When you go back to it there’s so much nostalgia. Nostalgia feels so good yet so sad it’s the worst form of pain yet the most happiness I wish we were in the good old days.

I had Battlecry as my alarm tone when I used to wake up at 4.45 am to reach my college 27 km from my house for my practical sessions which would start at 7. It felt like I had a shield from the fast pace of the world because I'd find my comfort and peace within this music. Changing trains, being excited about the future, feeling happy to just see my secret crush who loved Samurai Champloo too. This makes me feel like I'm back there, a time where there were less things to worry and more to live about

I’m back in elementary school. I’m 8. I visit my dad during the summers and he sets me up in the basement of my grandparents house with a bowl of sliced salt and pepper cucumbers in front of the old, big, TV that would give me an electronic buzz if I touched my fingers to the screen. I’m not supposed to watch Adult Swim, because I’m 8. But since I’m not around my pops a lot and my mom isn’t there at the moment, I get to sneak and watch Adult Swim til 1 AM! Just me…this fantastic music I would find out later was Nujabes…this odd adult cartoon that I find really beautiful and well made…learning lessons I won’t have to know for at least 7 more years…just…blissfully innocent. No responsibilities. No depression yet. Just me and Adult Swim. That’s why I come back. To feel those feelings again. To be a carefree kid again. Thank you 💗

Added this to my Netflix watch list as I like Samurai shows, I saw it was being removed removed on December 31st 2021 so I watched it throughout December and I'm so glad I did. One of the most unique anime I've seen. A mix of memorable scenes, emotional storylines you wish would continue, fascinating fight scenes and an enjoyable journey from start to finish. Will come back to this show many times in the future.

I don't know much about nujabees let alone watching cowboy bebop and samurai champloo. But their music and tone has this eerie kind of sound that i can't just make out. Its like hearing something surreal, like something i shouldn't hear and it makes me 'feel' something. That feeling isn't special but what i feel is like its hitting the deepest parts of my heart withouht even touching the surface, which is really weird

Samurai champloo was my favorite anime i had a art that I did in about mugen and jun in i have some posters on my wall but with afro samurai and ninja scroll in had a game 🎮 about afro samurai in I played ninja gaiden well know as ryu Hayabusa and heard ghost of tsushima know as ninja/samurai game but like animes like this I hope they make a another one rip nujabes😔
