To me it feels like I'm just "moving on" you know? Even tho I haven't been through a break up or anything, it's just the vibes this song gives off xD Edit: After a year, I think I can better understand how this song makes me feel, it makes me feel the passage of time, how life passes by and people move on, but I'm still here. How I can feel myself grow a little every day, and how everything is always changing all the time around me, and despite how scary things get one must keep their head in it's place and figure out how to do things, and how time can heal everything. I think the mix of old instruments with a modern beat, and the vocals perfectly captures this feeling for me, mixing old and new, just like irl past and present are inherently linked, how proggress, growth, evolution are all complicated processes that happen overtime and require both modern thinking and lessons learned in the past. Idunno man, this song is special, this entire anime is special, timeless, it feels as fresh today as it did when it came out, pure art in every sense of the word.

@@boopboop9356 Mostly cuz I tend to deflect my pain into support for other people because otherwise I feel too attention-seeking haha I want people to take my well-wishing seriously, whether they think my problems are valid or not. I don't mind talking about it tho. tl;dr stepdad died of cancer, landlord got away with extorting my family because he was friends with the legal mediator. I spent 10 years looking for a job and never got a call back. We ended up homeless in Washington in the winter. Sleeping near the road fumes every night nearly killed my mom; she's on oxygen now /: I'm not sure my breathing's great anymore either. Finally got a job once I didn't have a home to go back to. Amazon takes anyone they can find. The 60 hour weeks were so brutal I passed out several times and eventually had to be hospitalized. I said I'd do anything to provide for my mom and my sister but my body didn't agree. I've still got damage to the spine and inner ear. When I heard this song as a kid, I thought it was just fiction. After the things I've seen though, I know there's real people who need to hear what she's saying. I know I did.

This song sounds exactly the beginning of Autumn. It's getting colder, leaves are dying, and a sense of reflection engulfs the brisk air. But, despite this - there is no doubting the beauty of the warm, golden glow from the falling sun.

Reflection. That what it is as you mentioned. Fall is a season of reflection and maturity. the fall always seems to invoke nostalgia/reflection.. to me this song has a bitter sweet almost playful air to it that remind me of playing in the leaves as a kid on my way back home from school. Distant memories long ago when things seemed happier, simpler….though I know that it was not so. Nostalgia in one word

Agreed. I was also able to healthily grow out of a manic depressive phase with help from Nujabes. Granted, I was in high school at the time so it was expected, but I still had to see a psychiatrist and take meds. Approaching graduation, this song makes me recollect on my time growing up until now. Sure there were a lot of bad times, memories that still haunt me, either it be complete stupidity and cringe, or downright traumatic experiences. But through all the bad, there were still gems of incredible moments that without, I wouldn't be the same person. Though the end of this chapter is fast approaching, I know I can stand on my own two feet, though somedays may be completely awful, I know I have the strong bonds I've forged. I will journey into the unknown future. And I can do it because of the people I've met, and the experiences I have lived. And this song exemplifies my feelings perfectly. *Somber,* but *Hopeful.*

to someone who is truly deeply depressed, any retort to suicide will sound cliché and nonsensical. That's because nihilism is a very strong argument. logically speaking, you can build a very solid case for the meaningless of life. its sensible to look at all the suffering within life, and to conclude that its all just too much and life isn't worth it. Anyone who reached/has reached that conclusion in their life has simply seen through cultural constructions to see life as it truly is. but life is not only suffering. there is more than that. to be a truly noble human is to see the endless suffering of life, and in spite of that, to choose meaning and hope instead. to push forward even though all of our ends have already been determined along side our births. life will grind down and crush us all so deeply and completely it will be as if we never existed in the first place. but to live, in spite of that, and live well, i think that's something. find something in life meaningful enough that it justifies the suffering of existence. I think thats about as good an answer as is realistically possible. my friend i wish you luck and happiness.

Day 48 - Enjoying a cold beer with your friend. Hanging out with your buddies till it's dark in the evening. Giving your all in a favorite sport of yours while simultaneously everyone cheers you on . Taking Ls again and again but still continuing ,never letting the negative emotions decide the course and actions of your life . Getting attention from the girls you like. Blowing of a gentle breeze after your workout session . Everything turning out in your favour. Expecting the results and actually getting them . A subway ride with homies . Spending a weekend with your gf . Staying online late night to play with your friends. Building a strong squad and clan in games and getting continuous winning streaks . Trying doing drugs for the first time and getting caught and later realizing that its was God's and Universe's grace that you were saved from drugs and their I'll effects and being happy about it . Getting selected in a particular sports at nationsl level and losing the finals on which you had spent your blood ,sweat and tears . For this , locking yourself in your room for a week and start being a shut in , unsocial, friendless kid etc only to later realise in a couple of days that you are just a middle schooler and you can again be great at what you do . Rising with new hope and going out again . Returning to your practice area doing workout sessions till late in the evening . Not going to school because you have passed your last year of middle school and having a free couple of weeks in your hands . After your little workouts, playing basketball with your homies ,buddies and all your middle school batch mates be it friends or rivals . Getting attention from your class girls . Buying books to read . From middle schoolers parting their ways to different high schools and saving each others contacts and promising to keep contact and finally getting on good terms with everyone in class be it rival or jerks to entering the sophomore year of high school. Having full control of your life and avoiding toxic girls and stopping toxic clueless girls and people from entering your life . Improving your gaming more further ,making new friends , buddies and homies. Travelling to different states , countries and beaches . Meeting new people . Time to time playing xbox/PS2/PS3/PS4 with your middleschool friends to eventually stop playing with them and losing contact with them . Having new friends, competing with each other. Roaming around the city till evening with them , with not a single care in the world . Starting waking up early at 4:00 a.m. or 5:00 a.m. in the morning to start preparing with burning positive energy and a little dream to set foot on the court in the finals again and win those finals . Avoiding drug smugglers at school for your little dream . Starting working hard for academics to get A grades so that you can improve a lot. Helping your homies , classmates and protecting people from their bullies . Never getting bullied because you are a strong human and not even seniors daring to touch you . Getting along well with your seniors . Joining a gym and observing a tremendous increase in your performance. Increasing chances to win the gold. Start working for a part time job to earn some money . Learning new technical skills. And so much more.......it's getting a little late now. I hope to see you again in this life or the other.......

Had the weirdest, saddest dream ever to this snog. Dreamt that my cat had gotten away from home and ran over by a car, a cat that's been with me through thick and thin, and the grief was so damn real. The only surreal thing of this dream is that I could like save/load my game. So I frantically searched for a saved game with him in it, alive and well. Found it and loaded it up. And then I woke up, with the cat sleeping soundly on the couch. Never hugged the little bastard as tightly before that.
