My Nephew, ( God Rest his Soul ) made the gravely choice of taking a pill to " stay awake to do homework ". He was 19 years old. It was Fentanyl. His life was taken. This was his favorite song. It is one thing to listen to this song for yourself. It is another to listen to it from the perception of someone else's. I couldn't think of a better song to be played at his funeral as he exited this world and flew like a feather onto his next purpose. I am so grateful to this song for giving me the opportunity to listen to it knowing my nephew once listened to it and found such deep meaning and purpose for him and his life.

I first listened to this song in 2007, when it was used on KZbin as the background music to a video where some guy explored cell phone stores in Japan. Since then, I've had this song on my rotation and it's one of the few absolute continuities in my life. I was of course devastated when it happened but I still consider myself lucky to have been at the Nujabes Memorial Event in 2015 (Shibuya Liquidroom), where this song was performed live by Cise Starr. Seriously one of the greatest moments of my life.
