1:53 Wonderful facial animations, she went from a mix of fear, concern and regret to desolation & doubt and, finally, determination. Alternate Eve did the right thing, she definitely helped this version of Mark gain the courage to speak up his mind more, not just romantically, as for her, it’s a moment of closure for that version of her even if that’s not “him”. Nice soundtrack too, it sounds like someone’s longing for something that wasn’t destined to be but that can happen elsewhere; she helped herself heal and will help another Eve be happy.

It is honestly really unfair of future Eve to put this additional weight on Mark - after all, it’s not his fault that Eve is suffering as he didn’t even know she was in love with him - but it’s realistic that she would do something to help her younger self. She says “tell her something so she can move on with her life” which implies that Mark is somehow responsible for Eve’s well being, for the way she’s feeling right now. It’s even worse because it comes for her future self, meaning it’s something that affected her so much that she’s still reeling from it twenty years later. Of course Mark wants Eve to feel good, but he couldn’t have known she was in pain because of him, so putting the weight of that on him - especially after what just happened to him in that episode - is a bit unfair to me. BUT I don’t blame Future Eve for saying it. I think it makes a lot of sense that she wants her younger self to be spared more suffering.

Well I know one of the evil survivors of the Invincible War is sent into this same dimension along with several other evil variants. They all fight each other to survive, and one of them eats the others to survive, I believe it’s the caped one that Angstrom Levy sees in one of his variant’s universes. Unsure if this Mark would’ve had a similar experience.

I like how Rex being Robot is a foreshadow of what's to come in the Invincible war. Jason Mantzoukas still voicing him is consistent to the lore. Since Mark is the reason Levy waged that war to begin with. If it was human version of Robot under the suit, he would've be at almost same age as the current Rex. Mark being absent for 20 years mean he was never recruited to the coalition of planets. That means the planet viltrum might still be intact. Thragg will have no reason to personally visit earth or make his own army of vultrimutes on the insect planet.
