I think i need to get this bike. I've got a trek rosce 6 thats been heavily modded but the angles on this bike seem much better. Hardtails ftw! I must be one of the only bikers who cant stand how a full suss feels lol

Don’t get me wrong, I love my full sus bike but the Nukeproof scout is incredibly capable, fun and for most places would be more than enough.

Nice, they look great in that colour. They are a brilliant bike with lots of character. Cam is a GoPro Hero 11 with default settings, I think I shoot in 4K60 in hyperview usually. I’ve tried different manual settings but find in the winter, in woods in UK, the light can change from section to section and I either get dark or washed out footage. Auto stuff seems to work well for me.

Thats sick! By the way, can you tell me two things about this frame: 1. What can you say about the geo? Especially interested on your thoughts on the BB drop. It's noticeably bigger than on most hardtails, how does that affect the manuals/ whellies? 2. Where can i buy one? I just cant find it anywhere:(

Yo. Thanks. Geo wise I run with a 140mm fork and it feels perfect. It climbs like a hardtail should, feels stable and capable on descents and planted and grippy in corners. With regards BB, I’ve not had noticeably more pedal or crank strikes than any other bike. It would depend what fork you put on though as I see some folks fit XC forks and I imagine that would drop BB too much. 140mm-150mm is spot on I’d say. With regards where you can get them, I’m in the UK and got my frame from chain reaction cycles

@@banzaibikes oh thank you,mate. No wonder you got it from CRC - they had a nice sale last autumn, cheers 🎉) unfortunately, i didn't though was considering to buy it.. I'm afraid that CRC is never going to recover. We may be losing two top quality/$ brands - NP and Ragley.. Im not from the UK , maybe you , British guys , have some insights on what's going on there?

It sure to be honest although I see NP have a downhill team this coming year and Danny Hart may be riding for them. I hope NP will get saved and split off from brand, then maybe CRC will get bought by a big group. I just hope they don’t go the way of Evans cycles. The whole industry is a bit of a mess isn’t it. Too much stock held after covid and the demand isn’t what it was.

NIIIICE 👍 Tell me one thing plz, coz I'm thinking about buying only the nukeproof frame. Have u noticed that the head tube length is super long? Like, my canyon in size L has got 100mm, and the nukeproof in XXL has got 130mm !!! Was it a problem for ur build? Fork shaft length!! How many spacers have u got with the stem? Greetings

I wouldn’t say it’s any longer than most. I have the size L and it’s a similar length to the Orbea Occam M, as when I first built the scout, I used the fork off that. I have 2x 10mm spacers & 1x 5mm under the stem I believe, then 1x 2.5mm under the stem cap and I use a Nukeproof Neutron stem.
