Dude, I have been spinning for 30 years and I'm here to tell you that if the technology would have been around in 1983, DJ's would have used sync buttons back then! It's an advancement.That one feature doesn't make or break a DJ! I know cats that have never touched a turntable a day in their lives that can kill a set. So you can beat match using a pitch fader..I'm happy for you. Don't knock others. If they get the job done, PAY THEM. A paint brush never makes the painter. It's just a tool.

Great controller and I'm thinking of getting it to upgrade my N4. Does your VU meter not work?

Most likely there are but thats with every type of set up. But I'm sure there are people that can do awesome sets with controllers like that.

oh yeah, I pine for the days before x-faders and variable pitch turntables. If you can't mix by slowing down the platter with your thumb, you ain't a DJ! Tongue firmly in cheek by the way, totally agree with your comment ;-)

theres no need to have mapping for vdj when you buy the controller it comes with a special version of traktor dedicated to the 4trak

When using the 4TRAK setup wizard, what combination of decks do you choose if using 2 turntables, connected to channel A and B, and 2 virtual decks in Traktor I want on channel C and D?

Why wouldn't you have 4 different colours for the 4 different channels? instead of just blue and green....

Good luck. Check for an office or warehouse address. They have become very cheap under $500 is a good price.

Why do people complain about sync so much....that's like saying you should drive cars from 1970...DJ's aren't paid to beatmatch...they are paid to provide entertainment and the way they do it should be up to them.

There is no mapping for Virtual DJ. It only works with Traktor. I own one ;)

Haha yep . Everyone wants to down all the people that aren't using the same gear as them. If you use any type of new gear you are not a "real DJ" vinyl djs put down cdj djs in the beginning now cdj djs put controller djs down
