I still use my old Mixtrack 1 that thing has stood the test of time. I am gonna be upgrading my equipment to a numark M2 and your pt01 scratch. I think on the left deck I might go with a ndj500. The ndj 500 will allow me to play my backing tracks for my band and then ill be scratching on the pt01 more often then not. So excited I love Numark. Just felt like sharing this. Karnage Krew proudly uses Numark gear only when it comes to their DJ (me)

Hi, great starter tutorial. Quite disappointed that you don’t mention that while Djay Pro is a free app, the Party Mix Live (as I’ve just learned now out of the box) won’t work with it unless you purchase a PAID SUBSCRIPTION. Not cool to not mention that, especially after I already bought the camera connection kit.

well, I bought a camera adapter to make it work on my ipad 8th, only to discover that Serato DJ Lite is definitely not working on ipad; so I follow your instructions but Djay free version is not working with Party Mix II, only Djay pro @ $50/year; not what I was expecting when buying your hardware. So my next option is to run it on a computer, an hassle, but the party Mix USB is indeed not working with the MacBook Air's Thunderbolt/USB 4; so another expense... Conclusion, Party Mix II is un old hardware which needs a bit of an upgrade !

In the video the camera connection kit you used doesn’t actually work with the controller? It says accessory is to powerful £30 down the drain for this camera connection kit feel like I’m just throwing money away trying to use this I’ve had it for a few days now and get to actually use it because of all the extra parts I need to buy and I thought I had it but it doesn’t work? Am I better just getting rid of the decks?

Not sure, but you can try using a speaker that allows for you to plug in a jack/usb/xlr mic through the 3.5mm jack in case it doesnt work directly through the mixer itself! Hope it helps :)

i connect my party mix 2 to my ipad with the camera kit 2 and the charguer, and only blink the light 1 second and turn off, i try everything bit still dont turn on with the ipad, in the laptop work with no problem

@@iasiayoung1618 I haven't opened mine yet - I say mine, i bought it for my grandson and I am seeing him Tuesday so if I work it out I will let you know. I do know it has an internal soundcard so you should be able to use a single jack plug from the controller to speakers.

@@iasiayoung1618 ***UPDATE*** For those of you who are thinking of buying the Party DJ Mix II or indeed, already have it, there is a single 3.5mm, I believe, jack input whereby you have a single jack to a single jack cable included in the box. I plugged one end into the Numark DJ controller and the the other end also the single 3.5mm jack into a bluetooth speaker. As the controller has an inbuilt soundcard the sound can be heard through the speaker and depending on the quality of the speaker it can be enough to listen to your mix in great audio quality. We were lucky enough to have a Bose speaker but any powered speaker with a 3.5mm jack input will work.

The reply and video is so misleading. DJ by Allgoriddim is not the app. You need DJ Pro which is £6.99 a month. I came here looking for advice on what app to use with iPad and seem to be finding there is no free software for iPad.
