Numark V7 link not working properly

I've just purchased two new Numark V7 turntables from Amazon.com. I'm having difficulty with getting the two turntables to "link". This video shows the symptoms in detail as well as my connections and settings.

I have the same mixer, I've been dj'ng for 24 years, had 10+ mixers along the way also as a hobby, I got to say that this is a good mixer..... That's a kick ass set up, have same but with technics 1200's.......

I'm glad you figured out your issue. I never had that problem. they linked up right out of the box for me with no special tweeking but i'm using win7 which might have made the difference... have fun with them. im going on 2.5 years with mine now...

@DjBesd I don't remember but I got them on Amazon. They were about $100 less from online than from any of the local dealers in my area. It's been a while so I'd check current prices. In my case, they were far less expensive online than at a local shop.

I connect the two V7's together and then connect one on the left to the Main Mixer VIA LEFT AND RIGHT audio cables then connect the one V7 and Main Mixer to the computer. Please watch the Video on KZbin that is called: Numark V7 Connected to Pioneer DSM S9 Or You may need purchase a soundcard interface connector Rane SL3 or a USB Hub that have multiple usb input ports. Either your V7 that may use USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 Make sure to read your user manual for Numark V7 product information for your complete deck to work. Plus you may need to upgrade to Serato Pro Software & download it to your computer. Upgrade software will work on your Numark V7 as well. Please, search on Google for Serato Hardware to see which Dj Equipment. is compatible to your Dj Equipment. .

can u not use the link cable and just plug the usb and RCA individually from each V7 ?

will the left deck master light turn off when you press it. If it does I would make your right the master and plug the rca's and usb to that one and see if maybe that would work?

did u install the software from the serato website or the cd the v7 came with? my itch wouldn't see the v7 untill i reinstalled the software from the cd

have u tried using itch 1.5? Alot of people including myself have had probs with itch 1.7.1 so i currently use itch 1.5 without any probs

@ddoucette try this...works for me boot both v7's at the same time then on the one thats linked hit the master right after doing so till it goes off

@biggs3333 Thanks for the tips. I tried that but that didn't work. I have it all worked out now. The answer is basically turn on both deck at the same time. Then, very quickly, push the "Master" button. I posted a video demonstration so others could see what I mean.

My v7 is not working I have set it up properly but it not connecting to my mac laptop

Get rid of that mixer. Behringer products suck. I bought that mixer and had to bring it back. Got a new one, had to bring it back. Also got the behringer 32 channel w fx. Brought it back. The faders only last so long. Thats why its so cheap. I got the v7's and the x5 mixer perfect for eachother. The x7 mixer is badass too if you like the 4 channel deal. I kno this has nothing to do with ur problem. Cheers

you are all wrong///turn on both at the same time then the moment they turn on hit the master on b and it will turn off, but now i have a problem. deck a plays and i get sound but dect b plays but i dont get sound
