Never seen this show but, always been curious about the show when heard Andrew Scott came on and wow, both characters had such beautiful chemistry. That watching those scenes unfold made me emotional and invested in them. Poignant and heartbreaking at the same time. ❤😢

That is part of the reason that I think it's a shame that priests can't choose to marry or not. Some would still take a vow of celibacy still but some would choose to have a wife. Reverends and ministers, rabbi's and others manage it. Maybe this show will make more people rethink how they feel on this subject. Very thought provoking series.

I don't know if you are not happy in your job then why you have to do it.. like she was clearly the sign for him that he doesn't belong to be a priest.. I know maybe I offend people but God never want anyone to be unhappy , god wants everyone to be happy and content in their life. He was clearly not when he was priest and then he met her. I don't know but when she asked last time that "it is god isn't it?" He knew that it was HER but he was bound to not make it more worse than it already is!

The Magician I feel like he really loved her but like he said « it’ll pass » he just realized that his love for god won’t pass on the opposite... But I’m sad too bc I shipped them a lot but he chose who he liked the most and that was god (btw sorry if my English isn’t great I’m French)
