My favorite band. They are a band that have the most meaningful lyrics and have touched so many. Chester is a legend. Mike is so talent also. He raps, he plays many instruments, he wrote most of their songs, with Chester and other band members. As far as “filling shoes” goes, I believe some parents want to relive their lives through their children. They try to mold their children into who THEY wanted to be, not what their child wants to be. Really sad. “All I want to do is be more like me and be less like you”. The b**** depression killed Chester. He was fighting her most of his life and tragically, she won. RIP Chester. One of my favourite groups. Their 1st 2 albums are so popular it's unreal. I'm outside the box though, their 4th album is my favourite, I find it a work of art. I popped down 'The Catalyst' on my vote, knowing full well I'd probably be the only one & you won't get to it for like a year 😅

Enjoyed that very much, LP had a huge impact on me even though I certainly wasn't a teenager first hearing them in 2001 I think it was, but I've loved them wholeheartedly and still feel warmth from their music so much.

This is one of those songs where he’s pleading for help… Yes, I know that situation all too well. My mother smothered me, and I moved 400 miles from her. I made the conscious decision to be opposite with my daughter. But it’s also in relationships with one holding onto the other is actually pushing the other one away… You should consider doing some Soundgarden from the grunge era. Chris Cornell (the lead singer) and Chester were best friends. They took their lives a year apart from the other one.

Check out some of Mike shinodas tracks from post traumatic stress. You can hear the pain and struggle he went though after Chester's death. He coped with the loss in such a healthy way. And always rest in peace to Chester.
