I am Number_i fun from Japan and my favorit is Sho Hirano too ❤ So grateful to see you enjoyed their newest song BON !!! The lyrics have a lot of metaphors, double-meanings reflecting their background. Such as "A new church, legacies left. The bonsai that has been raised sells, no tax" indicating that they now belong to a new managing company and therefore the songs they had and loved so much belonging with the previous company which they no longer be eligible to receive royalty generated by sale of those songs (which is sad...). At the ending the radio guy is saying "Picture-story show three-men are going to the towns where everyone is waiting everyday" which I suppose is a metaphor of Number_i being visiting around Japan and World to bring everyone waiting for them a fun time by their live performance. I really hope BON to reach out to a lot of people globally🥰

Hi, This Title "BON" seems to be named after the Japanese tradition of BONSAI. A BONSAI is a potted plant that has been grown in a modified form for ornamental purposes.

But only a few reactors, including you, care about the message they try to deliver to the audience. I really enjoyed your reaction! The things the three of them showed to the children were called kamishibai (picture storytelling), and they were one of the entertainments for children before television became widespread. At that time in Japan, there was a sense of community as a whole that children should be raised. Nowadays, this is sparse. This is because the act of helping children can sometimes invite trouble. I like the way they dance in the kamishibai.

I love love love the new song!!!! Unfortunately English translation is a bit too free and lucks the depth of the lyrics though. For example, “Fu-rin Ka Zan”is the famous quote of a Samurai, Shingen Takeda, and it means “Act fast and watch out patiently” but ended up as “Samurai Banner” in the translation. The “GOAT” translation is way better. Anyhow, the last narration sounds like an old radio news says “And today as well, three men of picture card show are going to visit your town”
