1.Difference series- nos. Grow slowly 2.Multiplication series-nos. Grow fast 3.n^3±n or (n^2) see if difference is of this type 4. Fibonacci series- next term are obtained by sum of previous two OR the differences follow Fibonacci pattern 5. Sum of digits series- the differences follow sum of the digits pattern
