For concave and convex polygon , u should watch evidyarthi.in . It's the best channel I have ever seen. I also use to watch that. If u want to watch , then go and search , ncert class 8 , introduction video for ex.3.1 by evidyarthi.in

(a) Simple Curve: If you try to draw the figure given in example 8; curve intersect itself at least one point before closing. That's why it is not a simple curve. (b) Simple closed curve: It is not closed because starting and end points are not at the same location. Try to draw it once, then let me know if you have any doubts. Regards.
