I like when bands mix post with prog and sludge, which is Intronaut, the Ocean, East of the Wall, Burst, Mastodon. Also check out Sumac. Kinda post but mostly weird avant garde kinda like Neurosis. And dont forget Yob who are heavily influenced by Neurosis.

Holy shit, the imagery in this video almost perfectly matches the imagery I've been mentally conjuring for a science fiction story that's been brewing/evolving for years. This is awesome! Very disappointing after waiting nearly a year from pre order to be hit with a some cross between metalcore, hipster black metal and repetitive nothingness, home was and is an outstanding work of art as soon as I listend to this I went back to home and just thought why why why, home gives me butterflies chills and heart felt emotionions and it takes me away from here mentally, this thou made me sad in the wrong way, i really hope the rest of the albums alot better than this but 'regret' is the perfect title name as I'm sure alot of people might regret anticipating the release so much

"Blackmetal/Screamo" is a huge insult to the forefathers such as bathory, venom, Celtic frost etc, first and atleast 2/3 of second wave blackmetal artists aswell as respective fans. Keep that Screamo shit contained. Actually makes me cringe more than back in the 90s when people didn't know the difference between BM and goth or synth ppl 'Cause all wore leather and mainly black clothes. I never want to be associated with "Screamo". It's only used by new school hardcore fags in the U.S anyway. Who also brought back the whole playing deathmetal in surfer shorts, white tees and trucker hats.
