Thank you so much, this was amazing. I was VERY curious how a computer would calculate these coefficients when the number of data points exceeds the number of unknown coefficients. Very helpful

I performed this mathematically and then comparing the coefficients what i got with programming polynomial regression coefficients they are not the same whats the reason behind this (i took x as 1,2,3 and y as 3,6,4 and applied degree 2 polynomial regression here)

Can't say with your limited information. What is the problem you are solving and what are you comparing it with to say that it is not the same. Give me full details.
