Great interpretation of a beautiful song. The feel is different. She has a very sunny personality but her life has not been easy. Some of the pain is really coming through in her singing , like she wants to pour her heart out in it. The concept of this show is to gift the singer in the hot seat with an interpretation of his/her song or a song this person holds dear. It's like rewrapping something you own and letting the love and appreciation of the other singers pour all over it. Numidia left a piece of her heart as a gift to Duncan in this song. We all felt it.

Alex i feel ashamed 😟 Numidia is born and partial raised in my hometown Venlo. A city (appr. 100.000) near the border of Germany, south east. And I have never heard of her. So, that is the beautiful concept of Beste Zangers. To get to know about new artists. And their blending of different kinds of music. Out of their own comfort zone. But the good thing! Now I really know her. And what an amazing emotional beautiful and strong voice she has. Goosebumbs. Always look forward to a new episode. I have read in an another comment here that she registered for Eurovision 2024. I hope the song is good enough for the jury to participate. Numidia 12 points hahaha.

Numidia is great! And, i was lucky, last thursday i saw her after the yearly TV prices show here in Amsterdam and have a picture together with her. 2 weeks ago i got a message back from her on Instagram, a very sweet one. Douwe Bob wrote a song for her to maybe be the next Dutch on Eurovision 2024! Let's hope so!🙏

To be very honest: I almost "hated" the version by Duncan Lawrence, so I was sceptical for the version by Numidia, before she started anyway.. But then: she almost immediately overwhelmed me by her version in a combination of Dutch and Turkish (her native country) language. Fantastic, wat an emotion and what a singer! This girl will be able to conquer a lot of listeners. A pity she is not to be sent to the next edition f the Eujrovision Song Contest. She will conquer Europe then.
