Yeh i stopped drafting the set finally. Tried getting interesting and checking out diffrent archetypes but it seems like the format just boils down to force heroic of you want to win consistently. Drafts often feel like a mess and the power level of allot of the cards seems off idk. Set just feels wrong. Any time i try to go for the gates gates deck i dont feel like i see anything actually for it because half the table is trying to as well

Similar experience here. Went from diamond 1 back to 4! Worst run I’ve ever had. Seems like a prince format unless you get the good aggro cards. The set is shit. But I’m sick so I will keep spewing and trying until I get at least one trophy.

@Numot 40:23, this effect isn't a fight is it? As in, isn't it correct to use the artful maneuver to save the hero?

the fell stinger has deathtouch so the hero still dies

The Scorpion has deathtouch and deals the damage, so 2 extra toughness would not save it.

Kenji, I think you should try running 15 lands in your boros decks, especially if you have mdfcs. I'm having great success doing so, flooding out for this type of decks is the last thing you want.

I like the boros and the gates deck, but they are so dominant in the format that it got stale quickly for me

Boris = borrrring, hate boros in limited. Fortunately it’s easy to beat in this set. Hate when it’s out of control for drafting. (I mean if I gotta draft it for any given draft I do, but its my least favorite color combo and always try to avoid. I wants sets to be ‘slower’ and cookable)

I mean, its not about color combos and more about archetypes, isnt it? obviously not saying nummy shouldnt be drafting boros if thats whats winning, but I think a lot of people (including myself) enjoy seeing him play control/midrange more than linear aggro decks. boros is almost always the most boring color combination to me in most sets. I dont think theres any need to announce youre skipping a video though, nor do I think nummy should be forcing midrange/control every draft, thatd be boring too.
