In full wave rectification 2 fiod are used according to kpk text book

According to PTB 4 diodes are used but actually 2 and 4 both are correct In centertar tapped full wave rectifier 2 diodes are used but in bridge rectifier 4 diodes are used. So according to me both are correct.
