This is the most thorough video i could find online! How do you lower the harness strap? I’m finding it’s so high that I can’t strap in my baby and cannot figure out how to lower it

Thank you for such a detailed video! My first baby is due in September 2020 and I'm considering a Nuna car seat and either the 2019 Mixx or the 2020 Mixx Next. I've seen in other KZbin reviews that some parents feel that the 5 point harness buckles can be finicky or difficult to secure, do you feel that way? The other common "con" I've heard is that the shape of the seat makes it less comfortable as the baby grows taller. Have you noticed anything like your child being held in solely by the crotch straps due to the angle of the seat?

I’ve heard the child being held on by the crotch strap as well but from like on person. All other reviews of the stroller are from unboxing and basic info. Really would love to know more from someone who’s used it awhile lol

Hi Samantha and Nastchka! Thanks for your questions and comments. :) I am really glad we got the Mixx! The 5 point harness can be a little difficult to wrangle if baby is being wiggly, but it's not a huge hassle and I like the security. Also, I haven't found the seat to seem less comfortable or for the crotch strap to be solely holding him in. Of course, he can't voice his level of comfort yet ;) but the seat is adjustable with how straight up it sits, so that's another plus.

I have been looking so long for anyone else realizing that the seat is super uncomfortable for the baby, the seat isn’t deep enough and my son always looks like he’s slipping out of the seat or sitting on the edge! I honestly hate this stroller now that he’s older and uses the seat instead of the pipa car seat. Also reading all the reviews I realized everyone reviewing it did the review before their child was old enough and big enough to use the seat alone.

My son is now 13 months old and over 20 lbs and doesn't seem to be uncomfortable sitting in the Nuna Mixx stroller seat, FWIW. We have really loved this stroller! But every baby will fit a little differently in every baby product. There's no one product that's perfect for every baby!

@@blackriflehomestead we ended up buying this stroller as well. Our baby is now 5 months and so far we like using it. Thank you for following up!

How do you adjust the straps and buckle? I’m struggling to adjusting it for my daughter. She is 5 months and is a little uncomfortable
@blackriflehomestead3 жыл бұрын
They are a little tricky! I no longer own the Nuna Mixx, as I had another baby and had to upgrade to a double stroller. But to my memory, you have to work with the strap and buckle to move them and lengthen the strap. I wish I could be more helpful!

Thank you for the video. Do you know how you would make this waterproof? I live in the UK and it rains all the time. Many thanks in advance
@blackriflehomestead4 жыл бұрын
You're welcome! I believe Nuna does make a waterproof rain cover for the stroller. :)

I just purchased this, is it supposed to shake slightly to moderate... it’s not stiff
@blackriflehomestead4 жыл бұрын
Mine is shaky too, so it must be like that on purpose. I haven't really minded it because then it's easy to shake the stroller to calm the baby down, and also does turns really well.

Ooooh I have not heard of the Nuna Mixx Next! That must be their newest stroller model?

The Bauman Family What are the main differences between the two? I pre ordered the Mixx 2019 two months ago. Is it worth cancelling the order and buying the Mixx Next for £145 more? What do you think?
@loveAntoinette4 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for this detailed video Malori! This is one of my top choices of strollers, and currently have it on my registry. However I’ve been looking at other reviews and quite a few complaints parents have is the shallowness of the seat, like their babies are sliding down or would slide down and out if it weren’t for the safety buckles. Do you have that same problem?
@thaobaker57234 жыл бұрын
Wendy K The 2019 and 2020 look pretty much identical, but the Nuna Mixx Next has a bit of a smaller/shorter fold. It folds several inches shorter than the 2019 version. Another difference I noticed is that the 2020 has 2 slot options (on the removable seat liner) for the bottom buckle. I’m not positive but I think this means they also made the seat deeper as well.

Hey! Hopefully you see this, how did you adjust the straps where it says “Nuna” I cannot figure it out!!
@blackriflehomestead3 жыл бұрын
It's a little bit tricky! Unsnap the snaps on the shoulder pads and then you kinda just have to finagle the straps to get longer or shorter. I haven't done it a lot so I really couldn't tell you exactly which way to pull!

@@blackriflehomestead thank you! I realized what I did wrong. I put the straps in the wrong hole for the insert. 😓
