Is there a difference between nuna sena Aire and nuna sena Aire travel one ? And if they are heavy why is it called Aire ? 😅 thought it was supposed to be light

Ok, so we got our Sena Aire and were excited about how easy it is to open and fold back up. But, maybe I'm missing something here... Those snaps that secure the mattress to the bottom of the play yard... How the heck are those easy and user friendly? Is there some trick to feeding those snap straps through the bottom into those slits that are JUST big enough for the straps? Pretty tricky to do considering the mattress itself is sort of in the way while you're doing it. Certainly not an easy one person job.

Katie, so those snaps wouldn't really be a problem if you plan on using the Sena as more of a permanent bed as you would only need to do it once. As a practical parent we feel its probably ok to just velcro the mattress to the bottom if you plan on folding it open and closed often. The mattress should fit pretty snug anyway but use your best judgement.

We did just contact a Nuna Rep and they said " The straps do not have to be used in the bassinet mode, however they must be used in the playard mode to attach the mattress to the SENA tubes. Not sure how the consumer is trying to do it, but it makes threading the straps easier if you tilt the SENA on its side rather than trying to thread the straps blindly. Between the 4moms breeze and the nuna sena, which one would work best for a 8+ month old baby? Are they the same size?

The 4Moms Breeze has a larger sleeping capacity and it a little easier to open and close so it would be an excellent option for you. Can I use the nuna as a crib to sleep at night even when my baby can’t use the bassinet insert because he exceeds the weight capacity?

If your baby exceeds that weight capacity of the bassinet then we strongly recommend using the main sleeping area, especially if you are using it at night. It is perfectly safe to use this overnight as long as you are using other safe sleep practices.

Discontinue use of the bassinet when child can push up on hands and knees (approximately 3-5 months) or weighs more than 15 lbs Changer is good to use until your child is 20 lbs.
