As a Greek in Greenland, I was surprised to and glad to hear Greek music in the background in their home (Time 13:20) I wonder how there break music reached to Greenland at this time :)

A Dane brought it with him to Nuuk, and the record got played on the national radio. Also Hawaiian music, swing and country became popular, via the encounters between Greenlanders and the American soldiers at the military bases in Greenland. The soldiers simply gave away records and small record players as gifts, especially to young Greenlander women, that they met...
