I tried the Tekubi & Ago-uchi in a nunchaku sparring match. I didn’t manage to hit anything but I definitely got some use out of the hiding the nunchaku bit. Thanks Kohji!

You should start with the soft ones, if I didn't I probably could not walk by today, a full wooden nunchaku falling from your hand to your feet could brake your bones

Very good! Thank you. Helps people do something productive during lockdowns. I made a set/pair of nunchucku in my shed only yesterday. Let the hitting myself commence

Hi. If you had to break down number 7 into two strokes how would you describe it. I think I’m doing it correctly. Also what school is this Kata from? I know some of the Matayoshi.

Very nice brother, i m too much keenly fond of learning this nunchuku but in my country pakistan there is no accademy or school of this art. Anyhow i will be in touch with you , regards. Shahzad khan from lahore pakistan

Hi! Thank you so much for watching. My nunchaku is 34cm. I also have a shorter one which is 31cm. When I do double Nunchaku, I use the shorter one.

Kohji, this is a phenomenal video. One of the best I have ever seen! Will you ever do an intermediate skills video? I would love to take my training to the next level but there is no Kobudo where I live.

Wow, thank you so much for your compliment! I understand your situation because even in Japan, it's very difficult to find Kobudo dojo. Actually, I have a Tonfa and Sai instructional video but will make videos for intermediate and advanced!

Yes, I think so. You'd better have a partner but you can practice fighting yourself.

Thanks, kid! Year, there are so many Nunchaku videos because it's a very famous weapon. I like both flashy movements and traditional movements.
