Finally someone's showing the truth about fossicking for gold instead of seeing pans full of gold, thankyou. Do you need a permit to fossick in nsw ? new sub from Sydney

Thanks Heather, any gold in the pan is good gold to me. It’s all about having fun and showing people what we do. In NSW you only need a permit to fossick in State Forests. Areas of crown land, designated fossicking areas or private property no you don’t. State forest fossicking permits available from NSW Services Website. Hope you can get out there and find some gold.

If you could invest in some sort of hands free set up , I would love to watch a bit more of what you are actually doing. I myself rather see what you are doing and perhaps finding little or even nothing. Don't value your efforts by the amount of gold you have uncovered. I love to watch people simply and genuinely enjoying their day out and sharing it with others. Thank you for doing that.
