Hey Phil, you have the right attitude... One should always ride at their own pace. It's not a race... It's an adventure 🙂 Loved the cooking section... 🙂

It's just the rubber case that holds it. Took it off for the rest of the trip 👍
@CaptainCrankyMotovloggerАй бұрын
Well I won't be doing that with my little front wheel - doubt I'd make it through the first crossing 🤣
@MidCoastAdventuresАй бұрын
😅 You'd be fine David. The worst part was the clay hill before the creeks. First gear, legs out of me....lol
@nevillegreg1Ай бұрын
That first water hole looked so refreshing and man, that river, even better. How did your perforated jacket cope with the heat? Would you have been cooler wearing the usual armer under an MX jersey?
@MidCoastAdventuresАй бұрын
Too hot not to have a dunk hey! As for the mesh jacket V body armor, I'd say nearly the same, with the jacket feeling less "pinned" to your body. I'd go the jacket - easier to get on and off too 👍 The MX pants are like wearing undies...lol So cool 👍

The first time I went through those creek crossings it was torrential rain and the second time we only got as far as the second crossing because the creeks were up 😂. How was the causeway at the southern end of the creek crossings. I reckon it is the slipperiest causeway I've ridden across. Probably dry this time of year.
@MidCoastAdventuresАй бұрын
I turned around once during a flood. Got through fine the second time though. This time was pretty low- and that causeway you speak of, Coobye, was half dry 👍 Have a good Xmas mate 🍻

@@MidCoastAdventures You have a good one as well Phil. I look forward to your adventures in the new year ( after the next episode of this one of course😊 )👍.

Another top ride. When you record the GPX file, can you mark section of the track in different colour, like good, bad, avoid?.
@MidCoastAdventuresАй бұрын
Just working out how to create and save the maps myself. Maybe once I work out the procedure better, I'll work out how to mark some of the tougher bits 👍
