Hey, first of all, i love your video, second, how do you do that? the call, the messages, how?

Hello! Well, it's a bit hard to explain. I created pngs in photoshop and then edited them above the video bits. For example, if you have a fragment of a video you want to simulate a video call with, you first edit the video and add subtitles and whatever and then you add the png over it. A png is an image that doesn't have a background, or that has holes. It basically doesn't have the conventional rectangular shape 😌

As for the messages, i created two zoom accounts and recorded the screen as i talked from my phone and from my computer at the same time hahaha

(a bit more explanation in the pngs): for example, in this video the borders of the video (simulating the Zoom toolbar) are a png. I created seven different pngs with the names of the members, and placed them over their respective videos.

When y/n receives a message, i made the orange notification by alternating different pngs to create the orange-grey animation. As for the cursor moving, I used a png of a cursor (again, an image without background, so that when it moves it looks like a real cursor) and moved it around the screen using vectors. I use Davinci Resolve to edit, there are lots of videos explaining vectors and it's very easy. Hope i was able to explain myself a bit! 💜
