Nunney Castle | Nunney Village

The charming little village of Nunney is just outside of Frome.
Here you can find Nunney Castle which was built in the late 14th century by Sir John de la Mare, a knight who had prospered during the Hundred Years' War, it features a distinctive quadrangular design with round corner towers. Nunney castle was designed to be defensible with a surrounding moat.
