India had just got freedom and was looking for a bright future. 1. Is desh ko rakhna mere bacchon sambhal ke : The older generation had done their struggle to give India freedom and now is looking forward to its kids to take care of India.. 2. Dekho kahin na barbaad ho ye bageecha... rakha hai ye chiraag shaheedon ne paal ke .. ==> A lot of freedom fighters lost their life to see independent India but now they are not in the world. you ( the kids ) have got the opportunity to see a free world so make sure it doesn't get destroyed :') 3. Duniya ke daanv pench se rakhna na wasta , manzil tuhari door hai lamba hai rasta ... bhatka na de kahin tumhe dhokhe me daal ke .. ==> a lot of issues were happening that time , but we should focus on India developement and not on other world problems.. 4. Barood ke ek dher pe baithi hai duniya.... tum har kadam uthana dekh bhaal ke .. ==> World had just finished world war 2 and cold war is going on... your one move can trigger another series of wars ... 5. Aaram ki bhool bhulaiya me na dolo , sapno ke hindolo me magan ho ke na jhoolo ==> With Independence in your hands ... the fight has not ended rather the responsibility has just started ... you should not be easy going and rather think about a fancy world... you HAVE TO BUILD A WORLD .. 6. utho chalaang maar ke aakash ko chu lo ==> Motivation for making India proud in upcoming years.. This 1954 song made me cry in 2022... what a power of the word , touching heart even after 68 year..
