I’m going to learn German by listening to all of these. I’m gonna get a simple German to Englisch dictionary, and translate each word one at a time. And I expect to learn the language within a month or two.

These guys are surprisingly civil in court, considering they are on trial for world war frickin' two. Hell, nowadays there's people who kick up a fuss over a traffic ticket.

Because they are world class military and political movers who can calmly and efficiently launch a campaign like Operation Barbarossa without trembling their hands.

Why not use a clip of him testifying and have subtitles for the SOB.

Dr. Barry Cohn, please learn German, use a video clip of Erich von Manstein testifying and you add subtitles in English for me for free.

@@ieatoutoften872 Manstein manipulates the evidence and blames Paulus for the events that happen at Stalingrad. But the reality is, his version of events is wrong. kzbin.info/www/bejne/q6ukq6N_mamBmas

@@Petal4822 , I followed the link you provided to the video that explains how and why Manstein changed the popular image of Paulus. Thank you for pointing me to TIK's 13 minute video analyzing this subject in English. If this was a card game (poker), I bluffed, you raised the ante, I fold, and you win with that excellent comment.

@Plautus egal I get you don't know much about the war, for most of the war Hitler did listen to his generals. They never could have won the war no matter if he had listened to every general in the world. If he did listen to them they would have told him to surrender.

Manstein?

Thank you for everything that was recorded, no German recordings, only the original material here, thank you..we don't know anything anymore. no matter which of these criminals. everyone is talking head and neck, I hope something like this never happens again. our shame will last another 1000 years, but as always, history repeats itself. 2023 Ukraine Africa etc. . we didn't learn much from Nuremberg, unfortunately.
