We just had a water recovery of a car and two missing persons from 1976! Two men went missing after visiting a farm auction. They had a lot of cash on them and a lot of people suspected foul play. Fisherman found the car last week and recovery divers retrieved the car with human remains. Pecatonica, Illinois.

I'm so glad to see you guys cover this case. I spoke to you guys a few times via email about this case. Once years ago and you put her on the list and then again this year . I'm not a family member and didn't even know her or her family but, for some reason, this case has always always been in my heart. I can't explain it. I've watched true crime for so many years & have even been a victim when my brother was murdered. This case feels just as close as that did. I hope her family gets answers some day. ❤

My Pawpoo got murdered in his home in Cali and still no damn answers or anything. I just don't know why it took Cali police a week or two to go do a welfare check. But nothing back. He just got swept under the rug like he didn't matter. An I wouldn't mind working to return people's love ones home by giving their love ones peace an giving their love ones closer an peace of mind.

I live nor far from Catskills ny I'm in clinton county ny now but grew up I. Franklin vt you want a pond or lake that stinks. Try lake Carmi. It's spring feed lake. But it's sounded by camps and fields of farms abd for years and years and year cow poop would run into the lake evwrytime it rained. And camps would have there water come from lake and showers and sinks drain back into lake. Thankfully not septic but still water that has chemicals is not good.first part of spring summer is good until about August it be so so but come mid August so green and the dead fish and seaweed be so bad they have to get the chopper put to cut the seaweed down so boats and skidoo. Could even get thought. It used to be called crystal lake until the movies came out and people were so afraid they stopped going to the state park camp ground. But ya aways the smell.is green allergy. Dead fish , and cow shit all mixed together

Living in Greene County at the time of her going missing, Catskill (Mike Tyson) Cairo Leeds area, I remember this story well. The old damn on Rte. 32 was the site of a small hydro electric plant. The area below the bridge was our local swimming hole. I don't know if it was on her way home but Greene Lake in Leeds, route 23B South Cairo, NY is a very deep, deep lake. The bridges you were standing under (route 23) is unchanged since it was built in the 50's, built with very good crash guards and railings if she went over them there would have been evidence. The NYS Police station Troop F is 4 miles west of the east and west roadway you were standing under. I hope she is found to bring closure for the family.😢

The search is made so much harder when decades have passed. There are so many changes in roadways, vegetation, and seasonal changes in waterways. What was or wasn't there at the time makes the search so much more difficult.

I don't know why, but this case is giving me vibes from William Earl Moldt case . He was in a pond right around the corner from his house, I believe, for 2 decades before someone was just messing around on Google earth and saw a car in the pond. They started building homes around the pond, and people that were living there for 20 years had no idea that a car was even in there. I pray you guys find her.

When on 67a going back toward freehold, there is a body of water right past the small airport on the right as you go up a small hill. It's very narrow road. If someone was coming the other direction and she swerved at the last minute, she would end up in that water. I was told all my life that that water was bottomless. Don't know if that was true. At the very least, if you don't find someone either on the 1st day or the final day, you are letting families know where the missing person(s) are not so that gives them something they don't torment themselves wondering anymore..and when you do find loved ones on the first day anytime up to the day you find them, you bring them home and the families then have resolution but we know you try your very best whatever the outcome ❤

Just a thought on this search....she was a nurse, coming off shift, probably really tired. Then you got rain and fog....maybe she hydroplained off the road anywhere. There is a lot of trees and bush to hide a vehicle too. Just going off of an accident that happened in my neck of the woods. An older lady and a dog disappeared traveling east on hwy 2. She was found off in the trees by a landowners and his dog. Her accident scene wasn't found even though lots of people walked that hiway for weeks. SAR, highway patrol, sheriff and volunteers. .just a thought

that model jeep cherokee was very top heavy. i had the exact same year cherokee and had to slow way down for turns. i could see one drifting on a bridge and an over correction easily sending one over the wall. my husband even put much smaller wheels on mine to bring down the center of gravity because i had to drive on red clay roads that are super slick when wet.

Please search abandoned wells also. I know that there are a few on Lake Mills Rd ,some have old house foundations with no home. The homes are long gone. But there are a few with no foundations. They are just in the woods. Some have rotted boards over them some may not even have the boards anymore. I remember when I was a kid, we came across a few in the woods. They always scared the Daylights out of me.. But there has to be others along the Route as well.

What about peat bogs in the area? My sister used to take trips to peat bigs here in Pa. She used to tell me the one we went to swallowed a whole piece of heavy equipment they were using on it . They look like they would be shallow. But are deep n highly dangerous. Im praying this is resolved for the family. When my brother died in a car accident in a snow storm we were firtunate that a Pa state trooper was going home and saw my brothers tire tracks going into the woods where the gaurdrail was removed so landvowner could clear trees. Unfortunately they left tree stumps which hooked my brothers undercarriage and flipped his car off a cliff. One situation where wearing a seatbelt was a disadvantage. But the trroper checked found the car. But he was dead from landing on its roof and being kept upright in the seat instead of falling out of it. Ill miss him forever. My son was born 4 years later and bears his name. His being found was a comfort andvibwishbthis comfort for this family. Thank you AWP. You are angels without wings. ❤

A lot of the guard rails in that area are new (The swimming hole) by the dam. Used to be a big party spot and then it was posted and blocked off

I passed you guys on a bus!! Lots of people go diving there when the water is high and die from up hitting the rocks not knowing how shallow it actually is. Someone bought it to prevent people from jumping in by makeing it private property but I still see tons of people their all the time.

I used to live in a place where heavy fog was the norm. You can't see anything. It's a wall in front of you specially when you have the lights on. You can get lost quickly and don't know where you are in a flash. 20 years ago with far less houses and light she could have confused one turn instead of another and get lost. It seems that you have to turn but then realize that the road that was supposed to be there is not, you are somewhere else. Fog is a bad companion at night.

Check the age of the first bridge you looked at. The first bridge looks like it may have been less than 20 years old. In which case those two deep holes in the river, become more significant. The trees growing up in that old roadway, also looked like they may be less than 20 years old.

I was thinking this exact same thing. Heck, I have trees growing in my yard that are only 5-7 years old and just about as big as some of the stuff they drove past thinking a car couldnt get through there.
