The clean barier is on the floor right under the catheter. If it dripped, the bottom of your clean barrier is put on the counter. Therefore, the bottom just contaminated the counter. You then proceed to use your gloves to turn on water and use paper towel dispenser before you take off gloves. Then wash hands and get more paper towels. The same dispenser you used contaminated gloves on. Im confused why this wouldn't be cross-contamination?

Hey I have to take my test soon, after not renewing it for some time and ive been watching your videos and i love them, so thank you! . but I have a question is it not considered cross contamination when we put the chuck from the ground on the table to see it eye level? If so could I put a new clean chuck on the table during set up?

Hi, Rebecca! Yes. You'll just have to collect 2 pairs of gloves. Before documenting, you'll appropriately remove and dispose of your gloves, verbalize "washing hands,"and then record your measurement. After recording, you'll don your second pair of gloves, then empty, rinse, and dry the container.
