I took the HESI today and I HAD to come back to this video to let you know that it is absolute GOLD. It more than prepared me for the math portion!! This was the section I was most worried about, and I watched this video last night for the first time. I’ve been studying using a study guide and online practice tests for the past month. Last night instead of going over my study guide’s math section again, I got the idea to just look for a video on KZbin for my last night of studying. This video was the ONE. I scored a 98 on the math section and a 96.5 overall🎉 My test was majority ratios and proportions, basic math operations, some fractions, some decimal and percentage problems, a few conversions (super simple ones), one military time question, one algebra question, and no Roman numeral questions. Deadass this video helped me pass my entrance exam for my LPN program I didn't go through all the subjects because I only really needed the math but I'm happy to say I passed the hesi on my first attempt!! This video is definitely a good refresher especially if your strong suit isn't math like me

Hey guys I literally was sent this video by a friend, had a Hesi exam scheduled at 6am, was so tired hours before but I knew she had gems and I needed to pass math. I woke up at 3am on the day of the test and studied up until 5:45am! Listen hunny I scored an 80% on the Hesi exam in 3 hours of studying her material especially proportions, percentages and fractions. Thank you so much nurse Shai!!!

I took my HESI today and I passed! I was worried about the math portion since it’s my weakest subject, but this video helped me! I ended up scoring highest on my math with a 90% overall because of this video. Everything she goes over is on the math portion, mainly ratios and fractions! Yes I just passed my Hesi entrance exams because nurse Shai made it easy for me and that was my first time.Maths was easy I couldn’t believe myself . I scored 92% in vocabulary because all I could hear, was nurse Shai teaching. You made grammar and reading easy to learn too. I can’t thank you enough.

I just took the Hesi A2 yesterday for entry into a nursing program and i passed !!!!!! when I tell you your explanation of ratio's saved my life. I totally forgot about that. My Hesi was mainly fractions and rations. I had 4 hours, 4 different sections and 50 questions each section. I took the hesi last week these are the question that came the most. Ratio and proportions the most, fractions, fractions on which is greater or which is smaller, basic +,- and division, couple algebra, some conversion, kilometer-meter, gallon-ounce, cm-inches and round to the nearest 10th or 100th (which are not multiple choices). Tips, don't forget to know how to do fractions that are - or + with improper fractions or when you borrow 1 from the whole number when subtracting from a greater number.

All of the reviews Nurse Shai has posted for the HESI are so great! I would definitely recommend taking notes for each subject, then doing practice questions with the information learned. I only had 3 weeks to study and found these resources SO helpful. I cannot thank you enough!!

As most of your comments I'm studying for the hesi as we speak and wasn't understanding math... Since I graduated in 2007 lol. Math seemed to be a world away . But after watching your videos I am understanding way better. Hesi will be taken after surgery in april
