As always, not just spilling the beans about the differences between there and in India, you've proved that you've that gist of being a Tibetan as envisioned by your elder ones to our root guru, HHDL, that practical gist of being altruistic and eclectic in real time, not just hallowing about it like talking about 'death' and 'impermanence' when one is healthy. We can say 'enough is enough' for the latter's bombastic way of presenting as Tibetan. All we need now is like yourself, the one who knows oneself as well as the concerned others' way of thinking through knowing one's own way of thinking, the working of one's own emotions. Best of luck Bhuti La!

I just wanted to share some information regarding nursing jobs in Australia To the best of my knowledge, Nurses usually got 1-2 patients in ICU, 3 patients in emergency and 4-6 patients in the ward. The health service assistant will clean up everything after the patient is discharged. The government will pay everything if you have medicare so health insurance is not required. Best of luck to all the nurses out there. Heads up to you all.

Yeah I did heard bout that. Australia is a good country to work.

Hospital where I am in uk is same to Aussie. We have HCA who cleans, do all obs and bm and helps us. Our 11.30 hours is not at a all heavy as compared to India and we get 10 patients only when colleagues called in sick. We get 7 patients during day duty and 8 at night duty.

Hi while listening to your sharing, you have talked about free medical treatment nd you said you were not sure that whether the patient have medical insurance or paying taxes And Yes regarding on this information I am sure Health insurance is made mandatory to everyone in the West. In Europe, health insurance may be mandatory and supported by public funds. However here in the US not everyone has health insurance. You get Medicaid (federal government backed health coverage for poor people) if you fall below the set income bracket and Medicare (for older people). Many fall above the Medicaid income bracket so they can’t get Medicaid and neither do they have health insurance provided by employer. They simply can’t afford it themselves or have insurance plans that don’t cover much of the services (the percentage of hospital services they can access for free or minimum out of pocket payment is limited). The employer provided health insurance also have the same problem of employees under the insurance being under-insured. I have insurance through my parent’s work and taking out my wisdom teeth cost $1000 with insurance. I can only buy 1 glasses every 2 years which costs around $200 with insurance (my prescription isn’t strong) and if your prescription is strong then the glass cost $400-$500/pair with insurance (what my brother pays when we gets new glasses). I think buying insurance was made mandatory but it was cheaper for people to pay the penalty fine then to buy actual insurance.

@@sonamdolma8921 we don’t call LPN in Uk. It’s either staff nurse or registered nurse which means they’re given license to take care of the sick patients. For that you need to give a separate exam here in the UK & once you’re pass you’ll be given a PIN NUMBER by the govt. that PIN number acts similar to license.
