Hi........this is a very comprehensive video; the application of critical thinking would help students to "think like a nurse", instead of merely follow what others do. Thank you so much for the excellent presentation. "Have a Blessed Day

I have a lot on the nursing process. You can find them on my page (click on my picture). My next video is about the types of nursing diagnoses and should be out soon. NANDA just changed some terminology so you will want to watch for that video for sure. I'm happy you liked the video :)

I watched them already. I am having those with my fundamental exam. Maybe you can give me some tips about how to answer select all apply and how to pick the best answer.
@NurseKillam
@NurseKillam 9 жыл бұрын
Marianne Paige For that kind of thing I should get a website with quizzing going (it is on my to-do list but not a top priority yet as I was unsure how many people would use it). My best advice here is to know the nursing process well. If you know ADPIE and the steps you should be able to select "all that apply" easily enough. Picking the best answer can be tricky too. A lot of times students try covering the answers and thinking of what they would answer before looking at the answers. If you uncover the answers and see what you would have wanted to answer that is likely a good one to go with. If not, take an educated guess. ... Another tip is not to over-analyse and convince yourself of an answer you r gut tells you is wrong. ... There are a lot of tips out there. Maybe test-taking tips could be my next video. I will add it to my to-do list :)

I just posted a care plan video. Under that video there is a link to templates. They are in word though. If you want to see it go to my channel it should be right there or under recent uploads and nursing process.

It is good...I just do not get used to hear how they refer to patients as a client.
@NurseKillam
@NurseKillam 10 жыл бұрын
"Client" is a more inclusive term. Patients are in hospitals. Residents are in long term care homes. Clients are in the community. The term "Client" seems broader and covers all three.
