I just found my med surge syllabus and started putting key dates in it. If I come up with new ways of using it I will let you know. Great post. Thanks for the tips on this planner. I have been eyeing it for months but told myself I would only invest when I get into nursing school. I'm heading into prehealth in September (2nd degree but it's been a while). Now I think I want it for pre instead of waiting. Thank you

As long as you find a system that works for you, that is all that matters. :-) I'm sure as I use it I will find better ways to organize.. like I just found the Frixion pens ( erasable.. that I am loving!). If you find any new ways of using the planner let me know, I've been working on repurposing the notes pages. :-)

Hi! I got the wash at Michaels. it happens to be the same exact width as the erin condren tabs. So I just placed it right on there.

Great video. I'm an NP student and I absolutely love my EC planner. I would definitely like to know how you made your personalized pages. You mentioned cardstock but how do you fit it into your planner? I'm a big inspirational quote, poem, and message person and I wish I could incorporate some personalized statements into my planner but I can't figure out how??? Any suggestions.

Hi! Yes I got thin card stock or any decorative paper and just glued it on top of the pages that come in the planner. I also have used wash tapes to decorate and make tables on the empty note pages. I use those pages for budgeting, finances, BSN classes, home cleaning schedule etc. I would make your own stickers and paste them around your planner. There are a bunch of templates you can find and create quotes in little rectangles that fit in the planner and buy a xyron sticker maker or glue them on the pages. I am actually planning to do this myself because I would like more positive inspirational quotes to also read. ( incorporating scriptures.) Have you joined an I LOVE ERIN CONDREN FACEBOOK PAGE? I have gained a lot of ideas from interacting with other people that have the planner. A lot of creative ideas on the Facebook page. Let me know if this helps!

22pooky Hey.. I actually do have an iPad.. I use that to take notes ( with a keyboard) on days that I need to type notes..and days that I don't need my laptop.. Just be careful when purchasing a tablet for school.. my iPad for instance does not work with some of my text books and some additional online resources don't load.. so make sure to do the research and find out the products that your nursing school will need for you to access and make sure that it works. :-) I will say it will lighten up your bag....

Thank you for watching a video. If there is any organizational product that you feel inspired to help you with organization I say go for it. Having such a key plan a really motivates me to keep using it. My EC planner has definitely helped me. I actually bought the crown pens at my local Japanese store. So if you have a Chinatown in your city check through those stores. I don't know if they sell them online.

Hi, I loved how you presented this book!! I start my 2nd semester nursing classes next Monday, in a few days now, and I'd really like one of these. No. I bought it in May so they only included April to December 2014 since the other months already past. When you order it you can tell them which month to start on.
