Thank youu soo much for this video. I am in sixth form right now and I am studying the same subjects that you did, double health and social care and sociology. Really grateful I came across your channel because I want to be a midwife aswell.🙂

thanks so much for this video. im currently in year 12 studying a levels english literature, psychology and law. im dropping law to do health & social care or sociology. im hoping to study midwifery at university, so this video was really insightful and informational. im also considering doing mental health nursing, so im wondering if it would be a similar process to adult or children nursing? im leaning towards more midwifery, but this video definitely made me think deeper into the other nursing options im considering. thanks so much again nadine, sara and esther hope you all have a good day :)

UK nursing school is so much different than in the USA. I want to be a midwife but I have to do 4 years in college to become a Registered Nurse, get some experience before going back to midwifery school. I guess UK and Ghana have the same structure.

Yeah it’s different. We only do 3 years at university to become a midwife or 18months if you’re already a nurse to become a midwife x

@@NadineNayy I wonder what it looks like to be a US student in the UK system because of this exact situation. if you know of anyone who has done that I would love to chat with them.
