From my not-so-expert analysis I feel that felix doesnt do this to chan because chan doesnt show his vulnerable side. I remember in one video, chan said he only shows his stronger side to felix, because he wants felix to feel like he can lean on him. But I think that's exactly where the key is. Felix has that protective, sensitive and nurturing side to him and thus shows his physical affection mostly to members who he think it would help/need it. He thinks chan doesnt really care about physical affection like the other members but we can see he clearly does. He always sulks after hearing what felix did for other members lmao and stares at him affectionalty even when he is not the person talking. Like boi, watch your face haha. If Chan let's loose and just starts being clingy, i gaurantee felix would come around. But it's almost impossible given his leader role in stray kids. He needs to put on a strong exterior and be unbiased to be a good leader. Fortunalty felix somehow understands this and is very close to him.

I don't put too much stock in any of the moments before 2020, but I definitely think their brotherhood relationship has shifted into something else since the middle of 2020. It kind of says a lot that Felix is the touchiest member of the group, yet always seems to panic and is unsure of what to do with himself when next to Chan when the cameras are on for VLIVE's, KZbin segments, or award shows. Meanwhile in Chan's Room, you ever notice that when Chan is calling any other members or other JYP artists, he has a monotone voice? But when he calls Felix, he instantly perks up. Same thing when Chan is watching or listening to Stray Kids content. He has the same expression for all the other members, but he instantly smiles when he sees or hears Felix.

Sometimes that Chan's Room with Felix where Chan said "You're like my younger brother" and Felix was like "Oh really?" Like he didn't believe it and then to confirm he said "Like Lucas?" Chan's actual brother and Chan said "Yeah". I dunno but it felt like Felix's reaction when he said "Oh" was like "I just got brozoned". But I feel like Chan says that so that Felix will feel comfortable around him but I'm not entirely sure if that's the way Chan ACTUALLY feels. And about the Cloud strife crush... that was such an AHA! moment for me, because maybe Chan doesn’t even realize but his crush is very obvious and he admitted right there. so my theory is that they are a couple and to protect the other couples felix is the skinship king, but they all forget that chan is very protective and some days its not the day to test him but changjin do ALL the time. he endures it alot cause he knows that it protects everyone but there are days when he just cant and those times where you'd normally see felix check on his reaction, the bad days felix doesn't look at him cause he knows that it's not a good day to test chan. there are times where felix has stopped fan service/skinship to watch chan cause he's worried about what skinship chan will choose to do or to check just how mad he is. when the others cant deal with chan they look at felix to be like "can you please make him stop". also these 2 are rarely in talkers or behind the scenes anymore!

Honestly, i think felix is more physically intimate to the other members because they dont usually react back. For chan, he is just always happy when they kids showered him with love. Like if anyone were to hug him, he would react lovingly, this usually puts the other person off. Idk i read somewhere that male likes skinship among their male friends, just dont make it awkward by reacting lovingly. Like a guy may like to hold his friend’s hand, they dont mind casual reaction like teasing back or simply ignoring it and just receive whatever. For chan, if a member were to hold his hands, his heart would probably melt as he smile and flutter like a proud father, then continuously shower them with much affection than necessarily. Most casual guys would see this reaction as ‘no fun’. Plus, people tends to tease people who pretends to not like being hugged more than people who just smiles it off. Felix is a skin loving person and Korean males are generally known for being open to doing skin-ship among male friends. Felix and Chan was born in australia hence this culture does not exactly applies to them. They became so much open to male skinship when they came to korea. Hence i think felix are more comfy with doing it with the south korean born kids rather than the australian chan. Another reason possible as to why felix is not as intimate to chan is because of fan shipping. This is the number one reason why male idols starts becoming awkward to each other, its due to fans really thinking their idols are dating each other truly. Example LuhanxSehun and VxJungkook. ‘Extreme’ skinship cause fans to start shipping idols truly to the point where even in fansign, they try to make it about their otp instead of focusing on the group. I remember V getting angry at fans and telling them to stop imagining things because they kept saying V cant stop thinking abt JK and kept asking him to stare at his fav JK photo. Extreme shipping causes idols to be awkward to each other as they know people will misunderstand.

From what I can tell so far Felix is naturally a cuddles, physically affectionate which is him just showing his love or closeness or his love language. i feel like no member's able to return the energy chan gives them. yea they all like him and care about him but it always seems like he's more invested than the other person. there's also been a shift in chanlix's dynamic from 2019/2020 to now. you can clearly see how their interactions changed throughout each season of 2 kids room, mainly felix becoming way more closed off.

@@melimelo8334 I have no way of knowing. It’s just a bummer for me cuz I got into skz because of chanlix’s bond and imo there’s a shift in dynamic now. It could be as simple as them growing up/maturing, leading to changes in how they conduct themselves or maybe their interests have changed over time and they bond with other members over that idk

This actually breaks my heart. I mean, chan already told he has a crush on felix (according to fans who wrote bang chan's crush list, he mentioned them in his chan's room vlives) but in the other hand, felix once said in a fanmeeting that his ideal boy type would be changbin (that's maybe the reason why there are so many changlix moments). And all I could say is, chan is the type of person who would sacrifice himself for other people's happiness, especially those people who he cares about the most (skz and stay) and it actually breaks my heart how he just watches felix being with other members and does nothing, so he wouldn't bother them. He's so kind and humble, he actually puts others above himself. I think he should think about himself more often, that makes me so much more happy than seeing him satisfying others. I love him and other members so much, and they all deserve happiness (つ ಥ ʖ̯ ಥ)つ
