UVI Program 24 -a cool italian 80's all in one synth

UVI came up with another cool obscure synth rompler. This type they got inspired by the Solton Programmer 24 an Italian “all in one synth for the 80’s. It sounds good and is perfect for 80’s vibes!

Great demo , thanks . I know some synth fans are not keen on arranger keyboards but this demo shows how much fun can be had with them . This is in effect a software arranger and I personally find arranger keyboards great for quick inspiration , especially for home players like me . Each to their own of course , but DAWS and synth sequencers can't follow spontaneous variations in playing . I know the Jupiter's X 'i arpeggiator' is close but Roland says , ''These aren’t canned backing tracks'' , as if to distance it from an arranger . I would love to see a full 'all in , no holds barred ' software arranger that I could connect to my Kronos . Are you listening UVI, my money is ready ? Thanks again , Kieron

I love synthwave so much. This is perfect for it, and much better than some gimmicky offerings by other software developers 😉 The Solton looked amazing. All of UVI's stuff sounds great and pretty flexible for being a "ROMpler".

Would buy that hardware synth in an instant if Behringer remade it as it does one job extremely well which is to recreate the early to mid 80s in one box. It would be great if Roland or another synth company made a modern version which has all the synth and drum sounds of just the 80s with high quality DAC like the Roland S770 but able to do low bitrates which could mimic Fairlight, Emu or early Roland and Akais, also with hardware Juno chorus, analog filters, multisampling, onboard SD storage and thousands of preset drum and arp patterns and chord/bass accompianment with PC editing, even if it was virtual analog it would sell in droves as its exactly what most of us 80s fans are trying to achieve with all of these synths and plugins but a basic 4 or 8 voice analog would be the icing on the cake. Roland are halfway there with their JupX, JDX and MC range so this would be easy for them to create but we don't want limitations, it has to be able to do all of the above without any annoying restrictions or limitations especially where memory and storage are concerned. Integrate it with Roland Cloud for new patches and samples or different ACB/ABM models from other manufacturers and its a match made in 80s synth heaven.

I prefer the Event Ketron because has live instruments. It is the best at the moment on the market. You can do any kind of music. Italian sounds are the best¬

Hi, I love how good this sounds and bought it. I just cant figure out how to route my midi tracks to the separate sections? When I play one note, it plays the whole pattern with all sections. I want to route a midi track to every section (drums, bass, strings, accomp.1-3) and ideally one midi track to each drum track (kick, snare, hihat,…). Can you do that? And how can I play the strings? No matter what key I press, it triggers the whole pattern with all sections. Love the sound ❤️

There are more than one ways to do that: (1) you can load any patch and mute all the sounds you don't want. then turn off the arpeggiator for the sound you want to play live, (2) You can browse to the single instrument section and load an entire bank of samples for a category of sounds. Then in the synth window you can change the preset and the sound until you find what you like. (3) for separate MIDI control, you would have to go in the MULTI section )top right of the UVI Workstation plugin window and select a single instrument per part. You can have as many as your computer can support. Each can be assign to a separate MID channel and separate audio out.

Great sounds. I’ve never used a UVI instrument before. You play it in Workstation. Can you load workstation into your DAW of choice? Or is it it’s own standalone DAW? Zenbeats has become my go to DAW. Can it be used with Zenbeats?

I think UVI's teaser (or whatever) video didn't do it justice. It sounded a little cheesy to me and with so many options out there I just quickly moved on. It wasn't until I saw deep dive videos like this one that sold me on it.

There is some tremble on your voice, like time stretching artifacs. This happens when video editing program convert audio’s sample rate incorrectly.
