My step-dad served in the Army Airborne. We are Seminole. They had him run point and do recon. I grew up hearing him scream at night, sometimes in Vietnamese, because of what he went through. He helped set up a veterans program for our tribe to help work through PTSD.

You guys are Americans, not racist crazy europeans who use American for a dogwhistle. I hear a thing that claims to be a parent screaming too,in hate speach and cursing and specifically looking up stuff to get mad at. it so arrogant it says it can use use punish and evil on every1,and then watches insecure weaklings basically laughing at the violence in a.c. valhalla and black ops 2/definitely 3,and you can tell their not actually happy=their insecure.

a idiot just says fantasy and hate speach about people and idiots do crazy insecure laughing. roarshack became a serial killer against criminals because a criminal let dogs eat a kid. I'm forced to listen to hate speech,war,ww2 and the holocaust and I just heard 1. I just realized it wouldn't be good. it treated 2 people like how chaos, the rilgios part or criminals are treated in warhammer 40,000,by chaos,I mean how they treat people, chaos are criminals in the inperiam, unless you need help or like extremely dark cyberpunk and extremely dark fantasy research,I'm pretty sure you know what's it's like to live there too=help.

I feel bad for those invaders, sailing across the world just to killed those with a different ideology and return home with PTSD and Agent Orange side effect that cause their baby born without limbs. Check online to see the full list of side effects that pass down the generations. Anyway thank you for your services. What's your opinion on this? I'm a 72 year old Vietnam Veteran who saw what the US imperial empire did in Vietnam with my own eyes. I was born in 1949 and was lied to and brainwashed by my government since I was in the first grade. That was one reason that I volunteered for the USMC in 1969 and why I volunteered for Vietnam in 1970. But when you see what the US did in Vietnam, you cannot unsee it. That has been what I have lived with my whole life. And now I'm an old man who understands that the people who have been running the US government since I was born, are generations of vipers, who are responsible for the deaths of millions of people around the planet. And now the US is in a proxy war with Russia. I understand the Russia is responsible for invading Ukraine but the US, NATO and Ukraine are responsible for provoking Russia into invading Ukraine. I agree with you, Brian, that the only way to end this war and stop the killing is for Ukraine to capitulate and sue for peace with Russia. This war is so dangerous because of the very real risk of a nuclear exchange between the US and Russia no matter if its a miscalculation, accident or first strike. It will be a catastrophe. -Otto Carnage 🙏

I had many family members serve in Vietnam. We are Southern Paiute. My dad and his brothers, cousins, and other family joined the army. Due to the poor record keeping they did not have one of my uncle's records, he was a casualty of Agent Orange who died of the exposure. There were others who were affected by Agent Orange. My dad told me some of the stories before he passed, but he said that he didn't care too much to call himself a vet due to the political climate and that he started accepting his veteran status after I was born cause I put him on a pedestal. My family had a long tradition of fighting for the country.

In my teens I dated a girl who was Hopi. She never knew her father because he was killed in Vietnam, but I did learn about him through stories she had been told, And every time I went over there for a visit I closely studied his medals in a frame on her wall. I still think about her family, and their loss.

Lots of Pueblo vets. Got over looked here but it's all good not some sort of competition. My great uncle had to get his mother my great grandmother to give permission and sign paperwork so he could enlist when he was 17 l. He ended up doing seven tours in army and Marines in Vietnam and Korea. He has some major PTSD ,thunder would freak him out but the firecrackers and bottle rockets were the worse , my cousin's and I could never do them at their pad,it has happened a couple times over our childhoods and yup got the swift boot to the ass. My neighbor an elder of the tribe was also in military during wartime,he did some tours and also has some crazy flashbacks,he says when it's cool in the am during nighttime it hits him hard . However both the men I mentioned both said if they could go back and redo or pass on service they say they would without hesitation serve again.

I am Creek and was headed to Georgia Tech, when two Naval officers came to my high school to recruit me as a S & E officer. They offered me a better deal than Annapolis graduates got. They indicated that the Navy intentionally recruit Creeks for independent command operations because we don't screw up, when on our on. In other words, there are a lot of qualities carried by Native Americans in addition to the stereotypical "warrior" tradition . . . and we make very trustworthy officers!

Regarding tribal nick names, one of my older brothers served in the Navy, and as he was from a small town in Kentucky, no one ever heards of, he told people he was from the bigger city nearby; Beaver Dam! Locally, the name is said as one word, "Beaverdam'. It took to his third ship assignment to get rid of that nickname! However, as he rose in rank to an E9 Master Chief, people modiifieff it to 'Beaverdamsacoming', meaning you better have your shit tight and in order when he walked into your sector. There is some distant Indian blood in out Mother's family.
