2016 was my first year to come out and join the fautasi crew for the race, I was only in it for the win, but then I realized while I was training along side these warriors, It wasn't about that at all. Most crews would want to show off their strength out at sea and as for us, we are taught to always be humble, and show no unsportsmanlike behavior to other crews and amongst ourselves, to always remember that our families, servants of the Lord, and the unstoppable support of the village of Nu'uuli are praying for us during inland training even out at sea, and that we must do everything to up hold the source of our strength...o le Mua ole Mea e tafea ae ole fai uso e tumau pea, Manulele Tausala loto maualalo ✌️✌️
