Lakhe is a demon controlled by rythm of drum called dholak and jhyali. So with the rythm of those instrument it is forcely controlled so if we leave Lakhe when it is on the person who is dancing, the person attacks the instrument player. Which you can clearly see in the video. In my knowledge Lakhe do not have any other devine power instead the instrument has devine power to control Lakhe according to myths. So Natyashwori is god of rythms, music and dancing as well. So we praise Natyashwori once in a year so that out instruments get the power to control Lakhe.

While choosing those people some were chosen who have already had "SI" before and the seniority is given to one who had it most time hence the order of their seating.
